TRIGGER WARNINGS

Why is there an entire page dedicated to trigger warnings rather than putting it in the front of every book?

Great question! I have two answers:

1) It's incredibly important to me that my readers are made aware of any triggers that may be in my books, however I am well aware that I am constantly learning and growing as an individual, and when something is not your lived experience you can very easily not recognise it as a trigger for someone else. This is why having a webpage dedicated to this is beneficial because as I learn more from you amazing readers I can update/add anything new here and continue to keep my readers safe.

2) Some people don't like to see trigger warnings as they feel that it gives them an idea of things that may or may not happen in the book. Therefore, I want to make sure that this is a choice that everyone has. By creating this space it means that readers can choose whether or not they wish to know the triggers in each of my books.
